Kronos the Lord of the Universe had developed a crush on Rhea. Kronos couldn't restrain himself and he invited Rhea to  a romantic dinner. He proposed to her on the spot and fearing Kronos she  agreed to marry him. Rhea was the Titan of Motherhood and you know what was bound to happen now. But Kronos was very much afraid of the curse. But he put those thoughts aside and welcomed their first baby together.

.Kronos and Rhea had their first baby girl Hestia. The baby reminded Kronos of the curse,that one of his own children will over throw him and take his throne just like he did to his father. Hestia was a Goddess,the first member of an entirely new branch of immortals. He had to get rid of Hestia immediately and irreversibly to keep his throne.

 So Kronos just opened his mouth and stuffed Hestia and swallowed her. Rhea completely freaked out ,"Ahh,What have you done?".Kronos tried explaining the prophecy. Rhea stormed off in rage.She couldn't leave him because of who he was and she was calm about it as Hestia was immortal so she could not die. Kronos became obsessed with the prophecy and wanted to test it.He had more babies Demeter,Hera,Posiedon&Hades and swallowed them too.

Earth Mother could not stand to hear her daughter wailing. Gaia's voice whispered to go to Crete when she gives birth the next time.And when it was time she landed on the Island Crete and gave birth to Zeus in a cave at the base of Mount Ida.Rhea made it back to Mount Orthys and stormed into the throne room. Kronos wanted to swallow this one too but all that Rhea had brought along was a swaddled boulder and without even noticing he stuffed it down his throat. All this while Rhea had learnt a thing or two about acting. She stormed off the throne room and said that she would never have a child again. That was okay with Kronos. He thought to himself that now he would forever be the King of the Cosmos and would never be overthrown.





Meanwhile, Rhea visited Mount Ida whenever she could to visit Zeus. She was waiting for the right time for him to grow up and take over Kronos and rescue his siblings from his gut.
